    Alpstein Hike 2018

In 2018 I went on a breathtaking hike through parts of the Alpstein region in Switzerland, starting in Wildhaus and ending at Staubern cable car station. The hike was a total of roughly 14 kilometers and was filled with stunning alpine flowers throughout the entire journey. The view along the way was simply breathtaking, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The hike started off with a gradual incline towards Alp Gamplüt and then continued towards Alp Tesel, where I began the ascent up to Zwinglipasshütte, a journey of about 600 meters in altitude. The views from Zwinglipasshütte were unfortunately blocked by some fog. After a brief rest, I continued on towards the Mutschen and afterwards I hiked alongside the Saxer Lücke, eventually reaching my final destination at the Staubern cable car station where I had an excellent lunch. The hike took me through some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen, with the vibrant colors of the alpine flowers creating a stunning contrast against the rocky terrain. The entire hike was a true adventure, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as I trekked through this beautiful landscape. I highly recommend this hike to anyone who wants to experience the stunning beauty of the Swiss Alps and its alpine flowers.
