Switzerland
In 2019 I had the pleasure of embarking on a breathtaking flightseeing tour with a friend of mine that took me on an unforgettable journey through some very stunning landscapes in Switzerland. Starting in the town of Hohenems (Austria), our journey took us across the stunning Lake Constance region and into the Swiss Alps.

In January 2017 a friend of mine and I visited the lake Lago Bianco, a stunning alpine lake located in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The journey to the lake was just as nice as the destination itself, as we rode the Rhaetian Railway, a historic train that winds its way through the Swiss Alps. The train journey took us through snowy landscapes, over towering bridges and through winding tunnels, all while offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The Five Lakes Hike in Switzerland is a popular trail that offers stunning views of the Swiss Alps and five picturesque alpine lakes. The trail is approximately 12 kilometers long and takes about five hours to complete. The starting point is at Pizolhütte, a mountain restaurant located at 2,221 meters above sea level. The hike follows a well-marked trail that leads hikers to the five lakes, each with its own unique characteristics and beauty. The trail is relatively easy, with a few steep climbs (especially in the beginning) and rocky sections. Along the way, hikers will pass through alpine meadows and rocky outcrops. The highlight of the hike is the breathtaking views of the mountains and the shimmering lakes. The trail ends at the Gaffia cable car station, where hikers can take the cable car back down to Wangs in the valley. The Five Lakes Hike is a must-do for nature lovers and hikers who want to experience the natural beauty of the Swiss Alps.
